We would like to thank the new officer's for their support. This LMRA would not be possible with out the help, guidance, cooperation and leadership of it's members who step forward, to take a turn at being at the "Head end". We would also like to give thanks to those who have served in the past, and to let them know that your deeds have not gone unnoticed.

Dues are due!

March 4th is the deadline, to renew your membership. $12.00 per individual; $18.00 per family, (two or more). New LMRA Membership Roster will come out in April, so make sure Jerry Dukes has your correct address and phone number. Remember if you can't make the meeting, you can always mail your dues in.

1996 LMRA Train Show

February 22, 23, & 24 at the Highland Baptist Church Activity Center. Setup will begin at 7:00 p.m. Thursday the 22nd. Membership Day will be Friday the 23rd, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Open house will be Saturday the 24th 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Take down will start at 4:10 p.m. Saturday. Rip Maples will head up the contest, and contest entries can be picked up at the meeting. The contest will be open to all categories. All entries must be turned in by 10:00 a.m. Saturday the 23rd.

Two Train Shows

Once again, Abilene and Amarillo will hold their train shows on the same week end of March 30 & 31, so flip a coin and make your choice.

Arts Festival

The Lubbock Arts Festival will return to it's three day run of Fri. Sat. & Sun. April 19 - 21. We will be able to set up Thursday night of the 18th.

"Amarillo Express 96"

The LSR Convention will be held in Amarillo June 13 - 16. You can find more information about the convention in the winter issue of the "LSR Marker Lamp" on page 5.
