The November meeting of the LMRA will be November 4, 1996
On October 19, 1996 a group of 11 LMRA members went to Clovis for a railfanning day. The group witnessed 40 trains while in Clovis.
Mark your calender for Nov. 16th for our layout tour day for LMRA members. We will see some new layouts and see some that have made changes and improvements.
Our set up at the SCIENCE SPECTRUM is scheduled for Sunday Nov. 22nd. Anyone who cannot be there then can bring their module out Fri. or Sat. and we will set it in the layout on Sunday. We will be set up till after the 1st of the year. We would like to have every module in the layout this year. The SCIENCE SPECTRUM is enthusiastically awaiting our layouts.
In mid October CSX and Conrail announced they plan to merge. A week or so later Norfolk Southern entered a hostile bid for Conrail. Time will tell who ends up with Conrail. Will we end up with just two major railroads in the country?
Bachman has released their B30-7 loco's and we have the BN and MP loco's in stock. New structures and vehicles have come in. Some new magazines are in stock. A number of things have been restocked.
