November 6: Ron Warner will show slides of his trip to Disneyland aboard the Amtrak train with his family. Nominations for the board of directors for 2007. The election and Christmas party will be at the December meeting.

Elbridge "Bill" Palmer
Elbridge William Palmer, II of Lubbock passed from this life on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006 at the age of 61. He was born on Sept. 12, 1945 in Kingsport, Tenn. to Weymouth W. and Mary Sue Carter Palmer. Bill and Jerry Ann Arthur were married on May 12, 1984 in Woodbridge, Va. They continued to live in the Washington D.C. area over the next 20 years. Bill worked as a Distribution Manager for the Washington Post where he made many life-long friends. He was an extraordinarily giving man and mentored several people in the newspaper industry. In 2004, he retired and moved to Lubbock where he became more involved in his hobby of building and running 'N' Scale Model Railroad Trains. He was a member of the 'N' Scale Model Railroad Club. He attended and was an active member the Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
