Meetings at Highland Baptist Activity Center, Quaker Ave. and 34th St. - the first Monday of each month at 7:30pm.
April: Al Fox will show about shortcuts, guages and scales, sound effects, roadbed, and putting track together.
Arts Festival
Model Railroad News! Here is how it is scheduled to appear in our April 07 issue:
Texas, Lubbock — The Lubbock, Texas Annual Arts Festival will be held on April 20-22, at the Lubbock Civic Center, 1501 Mac Davis Lane. Hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. Activities will include a visual art booth, fine art booths, a childrens art booth, performing arts, and the Lubbock Model Railroad Association’s running HO-Scale modules and N-Scale T-trak modules, diesel and stream locomotives, G-Scale, and O-Scale trains. We will be setting up Thur. April 19th between 9 and 5; details at the meeting.
May: Dave Lamberts, plaster rock castings
Playday, Saturday May 19. Setup on the 18th.

July: Ice cream social and perhaps a movie

From the desk of the Vice-President Randel Bittick, I would like to say a big thank you to all that helped with the trains during Spring Break 2007. Joe Price, Jan Kutch, Javier Rosales, Rip Maples, Curly Bunting, Don Payne, Larry Payne, Andy Anderson, Shirley Bunting, Jim Baker, Patrick Pritchard, Gene Haustein, Dave Hunt, Sheldon M. Klock, Terry Chancellor, Bob Hoehme, Bill Lynch, Ray Zipps, Homer Morrow, Mr. Al Fox and last but not least Randel Bittick. The club had a good showing at the library this year. Let's keep the good work up and keep our fellow members in our Prayers. The Arts festival is April 20, 21, 22,  2007. I will pass around at the April meeting for members to sign up for to help set-up and run trains and tear-down. Thank you all for a great Spring Break.   Randel Bittick
